The actual design of the clock looks like this: [...]That said, the clock is sturdy yet lightweight, and we actually like the design we received better than the one pictured. It is easy to see from across a medium-sized room and we have not had any problems during the two months we've used it so far. The wrought iron frame stands out from the wall a few inches and casts a shadow. This is actually quite pretty, but if you're looking for a clock which lays flush against the wall, this is not it. In general this is a wonderful clock, but the inaccurate picture (or inaccurate shipment - we can't be sure) means just three stars from us. It would have been the full five if we received what was pictured, I'm sure.
