My daughter hasn't learned how to tell time yet, but she loves the bright colors of this clock, and it looks great in our primary-paint-colored toy room. Not only does it depict numbers, but it spells out each number underneath. She likes looking at it and counting to 12. It keeps time well without a loud "tick." We're very happy with it.
