Do not buy this, even a child's toy has better quality. Add Westclox to the growing list of old brand names now reduced to junk. It looks bad, it doesn't keep time and it's available at stores for less than $5.00 (as compared to the $12.88 I paid). Mine arrived today. It's being returned ASAP. The hour, minute and second hands are made of plastic as thin as a human hair, I kid you not. They actually wiggle when the clock's running! After opening it, I repacked it, to send back. I added extra packing material, as it was sent to me lacking adequate packaging.
I then went to a Big Lots store and found a clock of much higher quality for $8.00. An unknown brand name, yes, but with metal hands and it's keeping time perfectly.

If you are looking for a good inexpensive battery operated wall clock this is the product you want. It won't loose time if you have a power outage or power surge; the numbers are easily read even from across the room; and it comes in several different colors.

Purchased this clock about 8-9 months ago and hung it in my back room studio which we never really use, so I never noticed that the clock was NOT working. Thought that maybe the batteries were expired so I replaced them and it ticked away for a few hours and then stops, if you tap it firmly it will take off again. It's an attractive color and goes with my decor, BUT it simply does not function well at all. Don't buy this product. Was too expensive for shotty craftsman ship.
