However the construction is very poor. I went through three clocks before I received one that was not broken or askew. The plastic clock is hot glued into a metal framework. The hot glue only touches maybe half of the metal framework. The first clock I received was installed askew so that you could easily visualize the plastic supports from the front of the glass. The third one is best and I have opted to keep it since I love the look but yes the construction on it is still very poor esp for the price. I found this clock, read the reviews, carefully examined the picture, and took a chance and ordered it. This is one beautiful clock. It's elegant and interesting. It has a bit of steampunk feel. It's solidly made and very quiet. I'm very pleased I took the chance. I can highly recommended this clock. |
