In the summer, I swim laps in the pool at my condo. I wanted a clock that could hang on an outside bathhouse wall so that I could see the time while I was swimming. I volunteered to pay for the clock myself, and got approval from the condo Board for this model (I gave them a couple of choices rated as okay for indoor/outdoor use to pick from).

The clock's been in place for a month now, and so far it works fine. The simple design makes it easy to tell what time it is without missing a stroke. It's water resistant enough to survive several summer thunderstorms (including a dilly about a week ago that knocked out power in the Washington DC area for quite a while). I doubt that the clock is waterPROOF (it hangs under the overhang of the bathhouse roof, where it's somewhat sheltered from the rain), but it seems good enough for our purposes. Good value for the money.
