this is a heavy duty clock that looks like real metal. not sure about the big and small hands yet, they are rather flimsy(sp)

2.0 out of 5 stars Bad Value, April 4, 2011

On line this clock looked amazing and rugged. When it arrived, not only was I disappointed to see it was all made out of resin and didn't look very real, but it was broken into about 4 pieces. Amazon was very helpful in facilitating a return and refund, but I would never buy this clock had I known how cheap-o it looked. Maybe if it was $35, but for $149.00??? Really?!

4.0 out of 5 stars Great clock!, December 30, 2011

I've had this clock about 6 months, and it's worked great so far. It's a bit difficult to hang (which makes sense when you think about it) because you can't put anything across the open areas of the clock. It took a bit of work, but that's fine with me - it's worth it for how wonderful it looks hanging on the wall! Someone posted about worrying about the hands (stating they were flimsy.) They are a bit flimsy compared to the clock, but they certainly turn, and keep the time well - so I have no complaints in that department. Looks great - lots of compliments - keeps good time -- it was everything I wanted!
