We love this clock! Everyone who comes in our house loves it. It's plastic so it's very light weight but it looks metal so it looks expensive. Just be sure to hang it where no one will touch it, it delicately balanced.
Just wanted to add, we have this mounted above our fire place. I had candles on the mantle for Halloween, and it melted part of the clock. I wasn't very smart about placing a candle under a plastic clock, but I thought it was far enough away, and probably just wasn't thinking it through. So, if you don't think about it, like me...beware, it can melt.

It's bigger than I expected. You can tell it's plastic when looking at it from a few feet away, but otherwise it looks expensive. Worked well for the 12 hours it's been hanging so far. Definitely worth the $ if you want something interesting that also tells time :)

I was disappointed in this clock. When the first one came, it assembled easily and looked nice. However, the decorative top gears made grinding noises and reversed direction every 30 seconds or so. The clock feature itself failed to work. I ordered a replacement, and the replacement was just as bad. This time, the set of decorative gears on the bottom was the problem -- grinding noises, and total failure to spin. Either the mechanism is assembled on the cheap, or the packaging is insufficient. (It seems to be pretty light packaging for a somewhat delicate and heavy item.) This time, I am getting my money back.
