This is a very nice little clock. Mine runs just fine. You need a level to help set it up so that the pendulum will swing properly, without stopping.
The pendulum must be attached. This is not rocket science, and is easily done.
It is indeed a shape reminiscent of a miniature grandfather clock. It has a big sound for a small clock and is quite nice to hear.
Unlike those battery powered musical clocks, this one will chime 24 hours a day... and I find that a comforting sound.
It says it is a 31 day clock, but I was told by my clock repairman that all 31 day clocks ought to be wound at least once every 14 to 21 days, and that is how I do my 4 keywound clocks.
