This clock is a terrific item. It looks much more expensive than it is. When you open the package, the lightweight nature of the clock (the red body is resin, not metal or plastic) will fool you into thinking this is a cheap knock-off or something insubstantial. But it isn't! The clock is soundless, which is very nice. It keeps time very well, and has a face which is readily visible from across a dark living room.
A single AA battery will keep it running for nearly a year. It's easy to set the time, and fairly easy to mount. My one minor criticism of this clock is that the mounting hole in the rear is difficult to use and doesn't really snag a nail or bracket very well. (If your kids are bouncing off the walls in the next room, this clock might bounce off the wall!)

This clock is very pretty, and looks like the picture. But it feels like lightweight plastic. Items I have bought in the past that are termed resin have been thicker and heavier. So, although I like the clock a lot, it is not exactly what I was expecting.

I was a little worried about this clock as it looked a little cheaply made in the picture, but I have been surprised. It's light weight, but it has been knocked off the wall 3 times, hit the floor and the only thing that happened is the battery fell out. The face did recieve a slight scratch but you don't see it unless u r right on top of it. It's super quiet, and keeps good time.
