But the best part is that the face lights up at night so you can view the time in a dark room. It's run on batteries so there is no cord to run down the wall. I had not seen a clock before with this feature, but it comes in handy. The backlight isn't too bright, but the design allows you to easily tell the time and I love the look of the design as well. Both in day and night this is a stylish clock that will suit most decors. Another one of my favorite things about this clock is the smooth-turning second hand which produces no clicking sounds. When you order online that's one of those things that is hard to find out, so hopefully others can benefit from that info while making their purchase choice.
