SkyScan Atomic Clock with Outdoor Temperature/Phases of the Moon Reviews
8 of 9 people found the following review helpful Mine works fine, By Chad C (USA) - See all my reviews This review is from: SkyScan Atomic Clock with Outdoor Temperature/Phases of the Moon I think the person who stated that it will not work below 50 got a defective one because I've had mine for years and I've seen it register in the teens many times which is as cold as it gets here. And that is with the outdoor sensor at least 30 feet away and sending through multiple walls. Only reason I am even on here looking for another one is because Duracell batteries exploded in mine and ruined it. If I had realized I still had Duracell batteries in it I would have yanked them out and put in Energizer because I've had WAY better luck with them not destroying my stuff. Only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because the pairing sequence between the outdoor sensor and main unit is kind of annoying and I have to have really fresh batteries in the outdoor sensor for it to work reliably. But it would probably do better at shorter distances. Excellent Clock and Temperature Device, By This review is from: SkyScan Atomic Clock with Outdoor Temperature/Phases of the Moon I've had this Atomic Clock for over a year and it is fantastic. Clock is radio controlled so it is always correct. Very accurate temperature readings as it is in my kitchen and we always compare it to the weather reports on the TV. Well worth the price. The only challenge was finding a place for the outdoor remote that wasn't in direct sunlight. 4 of 7 people found the following review helpful Looks nice, outdoor temp doesn't work below 50F, By This review is from: SkyScan Atomic Clock with Outdoor Temperature/Phases of the Moon Got this for a xmas gift, thought it looked good, easy to read from a long way away, atomic clock, indoor/outdoor temp both displayed at same time, only problem is the outdoor temp sensor only works at 50F or above. Pretty useless in MN in winter. I have the sensor about 4 feet away, just outside the window. Useless. I do not recommend. |
