The clock works fine and is easy to use. I am giving this three stars because the manufacturer has their web site name/company logo printed in big letters across the bottom of the clock face. It fills up the space for Wednesday and Thursday and ruins the look of the clock. The picture on Amazon doesn't depict this. Why have a mahogany clock and then ruin the look? To ensure that you know what you are getting, go to the manufacturer web site to see a picture of the clock (dayclocks dot com).7/08 Update - After using this for a few months I found that my mom wasn't using it as much as when she first got it. I found that it was a bit too subtle hanging on her wall. I got her a "Big Digital LED Calendar Clock" from Amazon for about $65 and put it on top of her TV.
