I bought it for work and wanted it to be a nice design piece in my office. I was worried it was too small but it's a good size. The long arm is about 10" (it's a guess I didn't really measure). You can arrange the circle frames any way you want, they are about 1.5" in diameter. Absolutely quiet, no noisy second hand ticks. Yes you have to put 13 holes in your wall but that should be a given if you look at it (or you can use some really strong double sided tape).

The other review on this clock was quite unfair - the customer obviously misunderstood what the product was. It is, in fact a customizable configuration which holds a lot of opportunity for creative interpretation of "clock." You CAN move the individual "number" elements and put whatever you want in them for a uniquely personalized clock. Honestly, who really cares about holes when we're talking about art? I love mine.

This clock is so versatile and cool! I used the fabric from the bedroom that I was remodeling to put into the number circles. It was a fabulous accessory for the room! I'm buying more of these for gifts! Fun, fun, fun to be creative!
